About New Horizons Physical Therapy

- Bryan D.
I had the pleasure of working one-on-one with Dr. Dan at New Horizons Physical Therapy following my total shoulder replacement, from July through November of this year. Due to the vast knowledge and experience he brought to the table, both my strength and range of motion improved drastically in a short time. By the fifth month post-op, I was able to do my first unassisted pull-up. I hadn’t been able to do pull-ups for years, and it’s not very common for individuals to reach that point after a total shoulder replacement. I attribute this accomplishment to Dr. Dan’s efforts in consistently pushing me while simultaneously educating me on how I should be thinking and feeling during the process.

Dr. Dan is an incredible therapist! I had been suffering from severe pain and limited mobility due to herniated discs for months. I underwent two separate series of treatments with a physical therapy clinic, but I only experienced mild relief or, in some cases, worsened pain. However, since I started working with Dr. Dan, I have noticed significant improvement. He is patient, attentive to my concerns, and motivates me without pushing me to the point of discomfort. I trust both him and his expertise. I appreciate how he modifies the exercises, ensuring that I don’t suffer and actually experience relief. The most remarkable aspect is his hands-on therapy; it consistently leaves me feeling better afterward.
